Dear Luke,
It has been so fun to watch your relationship with Nora develop as you two have been getting older. You have become more verbally expressive the past couple months and she is interacting more as well. You often say to her, "hi sweet durl." When she's crying you say, "she's otay," and when she's laughing, "she's funny." You really care about her having a toy when we are at the kitchen table and she is in her bumbo. If you aren't in your high chair and she drops a toy, you love to be the one to pick it up and give it back to her. When we are on the floor playing and I ask you to give Nora a toy, you will happily pick one out for her. You know which ones are hers and which ones are yours. You're not always happy when I give her one of "your" toys, but usually end up being ok with sharing. We were at a playdate with a baby Nora's age for Valentines Day and you walked up and gave the baby an age-appropriate toy without saying anything. Very sweet. Sometimes you will read books to her and even share your favorite "caterpillar toy." When we were with her in Florida last week and you were at Honey and Grandpa's house, you asked to see Nora more than you asked about Daddy and me. You two took your first bath together at Honey and Grandpa's house and you were both delighted to play together in the tub. I tried so hard to get a good picture of the two of you for Valentines Day, and while I didn't get quite the picture I was looking for, I still am happy with some of what I was able to capture.
I pray you will always be close!
Love,
Mommy
