At 5 months:
You weigh 17 pounds, 2 ounces (as of your last dr. appointment on July 15, probably more now).
You are incredibly curious to see the world around you and consistently turn toward noises, straining your neck to see all around.
You love to bounce in your jumperoo and stand up in your exersaucer and you've learned how to rotate yourself from toy to toy.
You have rolled over from your tummy to your back a couple of times.
Everything goes in your mouth. When I change your diaper, you grab my arm and it looks like you would like to put my whole arm in your mouth.
You love to chew on Sophie la giraffe and your little football that is easy to hold on to.
You push up on your arms during tummy time and your eyes will follow a toy pretty high in the air.
You love to grip my hair and hoop earrings... i.e. whatever is in reach.
You laugh when we play peekaboo with you.
You like to try putting your thumb in your mouth while you're eating, which doesn't work very well. :)
